The Positive Aspects Of A Master Race

Last week, I submitted an entry here that discussed the element of Diversity among men and its importance to maintaining our own Individuality as human beings, and how the absence of Diversity among men would ultimately lead to the downfall of humanity. Because Diversity is, in essence, what makes us as Individuals.
When I attempted to define Diversity, I also questioned whether or not we should eliminate it in order to obtain Equality among the sub-races of Men. Of course, I came to the conclusion that we shouldn't; we in fact, COULD NOT eliminate Diversity among men, because that in turn would eliminate the drive to advance the entire human race as a whole to a higher plateau of well-being. Which in turn, would eliminate the drive to achieve Equality among men.
To achieve Equality among men would be to achieve Perfection for our human race. This Perfect Human Race could also be called a Master Race. Not the same concept of a Master Race that Adolf Hitler had conceived; for his image of a Master Race was of a crude physical Mastery; ours is of a much more complex form of mental and/or psychological Mastery, devoid of the animal baseness that Hitler had dreamed of.
Indeed, the concept of the perfect human being and/or race wasn't exclusive to the Nazis, nor was it even conceived by Nietzsche nor any of his immediate family. The concept of the perfect human race certainly dates back thousands of years, as is evidenced by the biblical story of Adam and Eve. Both Adam and Eve were created as perfect in God's image, until corrupted by the Tree Of Knowledge, or so the myth goes.
There are people who often confuse the concept of Nationalism (which dates back to indefinite times) with National Socialism; a common mistake that can easily be forgiven due to the semantics of both concepts. There are two fundamental types of Nationalism; a primordial type of ethnically-oriented nationalism, and a more modern form of nationalism involving physical geographic states and/or nations. This in itself can be confusing, for example, the Nation Of Islam is more of an ethnic idea rather than an actual physical state or nation. Nationalism can also be classified as an "imagined community", as defined by Benedict Anderson in his book, "Imagined Communities: Reflections on the Origin and Spread of Nationalism".
Nationalism in its true definition never had anything to do with a "master race" of any kind, and the basic modern-era concept of Nationalism still doesn't; Americans in general have a strong sense of nationalism that defines their patriotic tendencies, for instance. The same can be said about scores of other modern geographic nations and their people. It was Hitler that fused Nationalism with Nietzsche's "superman" concept. That, along with his hatred of the Jews and the bitterness of the general population of Germany after their defeat in World War I is what led to the German Worker's Party, which in turn gave birth to the National Socialist (Nazi) Party. Nazism did not exist during Nietzsche's time, though Nationalism itself did. Don't confuse the two, because they are not one and the same.
Returning to Nietzsche and his "superman" concept, it is neither sinister nor a decadent value toward the human race. It is, in fact, a strive to perfection that human beings are striving to achieve to this very day. Mankind has long dreamed of a day when there would be no human diseases or illnesses of any kind, where the aging process could very well be reversed, and where Mankind could ultimately live for an extremely long time. It is this strive to human greatness and concrete mortality that continues to propel medical science to lofty heights. The same human greatness that will eventually find a cure for cancer and the AIDS virus; that is responsible for the road to discovery of a cure for Parkinson's Disease; that will eventually find a cure for the common cold.
In the end, the concept of a Master Race, or race of Supermen, should be examined in a more positive light, rather than the negative one that Hitler's vision has embedded upon the brains of modern men. Because it is this same lofty goal that Mankind is forever trying to achieve, and probably will not even know that it has achieved upon reaching that goal.
The color of your skin is but a pigment, a shade upon the biological matter that defines the carbon-based architecture of the organic vessel that houses your Diversity and Mind; which in turn cradles your very Awareness; that which is the perspective of what the Theocracy would call your Soul. Hence, the definitive evidence of the Worthlessness that is your race.
We are the Human Race. We are not the Master Race.
