Once again...FUCK the United Nations!
"U.N. Undersecretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs Jan Egeland suggested that the United States and other Western nations were being "stingy" with relief funds, saying there would be more available if taxes were raised.
"It is beyond me why are we so stingy, really," the Norwegian-born U.N. official told reporters. "Christmastime should remind many Western countries at least, [of] how rich we have become."
"There are several donors who are less generous than before in a growing world economy," he said, adding that politicians in the United States and Europe "believe that they are really burdening the taxpayers too much, and the taxpayers want to give less. It's not true. They want to give more."

Yes, the tsunami aftermath in South Asia and the outskirts of the Indian Ocean is indeed a tragedy, and the death toll is (currently) at 52,000+, but it appalls me that fucks like this Norwegian dipshit U.N. "official" have the balls to suggest that the United States isn't donating enough money to this current crisis, especially considering the fact that the U.S. is currently donating the MOST money over any other nation as of now.
It's too bad that the world doesn't appreciate the United States as the giving nation that we are. Yes, they appreciate our money, but that's it. Fuck 'em, I say. The next time that the United Nations needs our help, we as a nation need to give them a gigantic middle finger up the ass and tell them to go and fuck themselves.
